What do we do at the gym?

At Amplify Fitness we are a small, private, and fully equipped gym in Hobart. We focus on building a community and making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable training with us, in the way they enjoy training. Our services include Personal Training (one on one, or up to three on one) and Small Group Training (10 people max). We ensure we commit totally to your success and focus on what you need to get the most out of training with us and being part of the Amplify family.

It doesn’t matter what style of training you prefer – if you don’t feel comfortable in a group environment, then Personal Training is a great option for you and we will make sure you feel comfortable in our private Hobart Gym. No blow ins when you are training with us, just you and your trainer. Personal Training is a great option for those who want flexibility in their schedule and focused attention to driving specific results or even just to feel more confident as they return to structured exercise. If all of this sounds like what you need, then Personal Training at Amplify is definitely the right choice for you!

If you’re not really after so much one on one time with a trainer and the idea of Personal Training seems a bit much for you, Group Training could be perfect. We train in smaller groups at Amplify to make sure that even though you won’t have a trainer next to you every second, you still get plenty of attention to make sure your form is great, you’re getting the most out of your workouts and of course that you are pushing yourself. The close bond our clients form from Group Training has seen many of them become friends for life. If you’re after efficient, fun, varied workouts with a wonderful, fun bunch of people then Group Training at Amplify Fitness, the gym in Moonah is definitely for you!

We have made it a priority for the gym to be inclusive, dynamic and community focused. We want to help you not just achieve your fitness goals but add something to your life. As restrictions ease we will be hosting more and more social events, we have a diverse range of trainers who bring their experiences from all over the globe to the gym which helps us create a diverse culture that we are really proud of. We want to contribute to society; we have hosted local musicians during the lockdown via Facebook Live and plan to do so in person when we can and we have a rotating display of local artists works to admire and potentially purchase as well. The gym itself may not have all the trimmings that some of the fancy joints boast but we are clean, tidy, have all the gear and dedicate our energy to the people we have in the building, which gives it a warmth and character that no amount of gloss can measure up to, which is just the way we like it.
